Name: Pyruet Tropos
(Pyruet from Pyruel, a "fiery and pitiless" angel of judgment from the Testament of Abraham. Tropos from Atropos, one of the three Greek moirae, she was responsible for deciding how a person's life would end, and personally cut their life-thread.)

Blood colour: Mid/Low-tier green: #5c9132

Gender: Female

Symbol: Epa

Personality: Raised with a very strong sense of justice, Pyruet grew up learning about and respecting Alternian law. Unfortunately, due to her knowledge on the matter, she learned that the law could be slow, that it was more for entertainment than the sake of justice. So she took it on herself to speed it up, make it about righting wrongs; even those that aren't considered crimes on Alternia.

Cold, distant, and precise, Pyre excels at her self-appointed job. A vessel of justice, a vigilante, she is judge, jury, and executioner to those who've committed crimes heinous enough. The lucky ones are simply captured and placed into the justice system. The less blessed, more extreme wrongdoers have to answer to her first, still being turned in afterwards if she had the grace to leave them alive.

Her experiences have forced her to grow up very early, and left her hardened and strong, but not undamaged. She has a very black and white perspective on the world; there are those who do good, and those who do evil. She's incredibly harsh and judgmental, and will not hesitate to punish those who call for it. Friend or enemy, superior or inferior, status and camaraderie very rarely matter to Pyre when it comes to judging people for their wrongdoings.

All that said, she's not just some senseless murderer acting under the guise of “justice.” She reserves the death penalty for those who've proven they've earned it, and she truly believes what she's doing is right—she only punishes those who “deserve” it, she defends those too weak or cowardly to defend themselves, she doesn't understand how anyone could possibly have qualms with her viciously slaughtering a purpleblood. It was righteous, after all, he was meaninglessly murdering other trolls by the dozen.

Pyre completely ignores the bloodcaste, believing that status shouldn't place you above decency, much less the law. That doesn't mean she opposes the queen, however. The queen has true rank and authority, something substantial, and Pyre respects actual authority—as opposed to the more abstract status the bloodcaste provides—even when she doesn't agree with it. That, in turn, doesn't mean she'll bow to anyone who can present a badge; regardless of rank, she will rebuff just about anyone who pushes the limits of her morals.

Speaking of ranks, she aims to have a rather prestigious one herself someday. Her goal is to become a high-ranking general in the army, have a division or several under her command. She'd like to change the way the military works, at least as much as possible; she thinks it'd be for the best, morally and strategically, to stop conquering just for the sake of, and work on conquering only the strongest and cruelest militaries. Forcefully adding weak or peaceful planets to the empire is both wrong, in her eyes, and little more than a waste of resources, while conquering the conquerors brings them to justice, and adds a powerful, useful force to the vast empire.

Strengths:
+STRONG
Pyruet decided as a very young troll that physical power was necessary in the pursuit of justice. She was born without any special abilities, her blood color perhaps too high on the spectrum, and while more passive strengths like slyness have their place, strife is often required when it comes to taking down criminals, especially on a planet as violent as Alternia. So she trained, pushing herself physically whenever possible, getting combat practice in as often as she could, striving to improve her reflex time, and the results show. She may not be on the same level as Equius, but she can absolutely handle herself in a fistfight.
+Unyielding
Pyre is, for all intents and purposes, immovable. When she begins something, she completes it. It started with the fact that most things she does involve bringing a criminal to justice, and that allowing a criminal to walk free would be negligence, but expanded to include, well, nearly everything. She's a completionist, and adamantly refuses to throw in the towel under nearly any circumstance. She's yet to run into something she couldn't finish, only things she hasn't managed to finish yet.
+Protective
Some trolls cull the trolls they deem weak or unfit. Pyruet? Pyruet protects the s**t out of those trolls. When she sees a lesser troll being threatened, it triggers a sort of mother hen reaction in her, though she's often considerably more violent about the affair than a typical Earth hen. It usually results in a series of check-up visits until she's satisfied that the troll either won't be bothered anymore, or is capable of handling the situation on their own.

Flaws:
—Obsessive
Pyre tends to get pretty caught up in the whole “completionism” thing, and often pursues things long after a less resolute troll would've stopped. Getting fixated on a criminal and hunting them for perigees on end, becoming over-involved with a would-be-culled troll and spending weeks pushing them to stand for themselves, staying up for days marathoning through the first several seasons of Troll Judge Judy; if it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing to an unhealthy degree.
—Graceless
Physically and socially so. Her physical training was all about strength-building and combat practice, so while she may be able to throw down with the best, she lacks finesse. Nimbleness and elegance evade her, and while she isn't exactly slow, she's none too quick on her feet. Socially, her life has always been about the job. Studying law, reading court cases, her training, the excursions to fight crime; it all left her with little time for making friends, and when she did get time off, she usually spent it alone. She's not awkward or anything, she's just really bad at being sociable.
—Closed-minded
As mentioned earlier, Pyruet has a strongly polarized sense of right and wrong. She rejects the concept of doing wrong for the greater good, believing that evil is evil, regardless of the reasons it may have behind it. The end absolutely does not justify the means, and wrongdoers deserve punishment. She clings to the concepts she's already formed, and is extremely unreceptive of new ideas from outside sources.

Weapon: Three 7-shot revolvers, one loaded with live .357 Magnum rounds, while the other two are usually loaded with rubber bullets, which while described as a nonlethal round, are still spectacularly dangerous.

Appearance: She has shoulder-length hair pulled up into a small bun, and short bangs swept to the side. Her horns begin above her ears, curling back around them before straightening out near her jawline. Her lower canine teeth are elongated, almost resembling small tusks. Her clothing is practical and slightly militaristic, consisting of a black button-up shirt, black slacks accented with her blood color, and a pair of matching ankle boots. Basically, a whole lot like this.

Home: Pyre lives in a lone, quite tall, if not particularly large tower on the plains outside New Hemisect City.

Lusus: A rather large—10 to 12 feet tall, let's say—specimen of Alternia's version of a Eurasian Eagle-Owl. Owlmom is the one who peaked Pyre's interest in law, and accompanied and assisted her in the earlier trips to detain criminals, though she stopped when Pyre started becoming more of a vigilante than a Legislacerator. Whenever she begins to reminisce about the old days, back when they were a team, Pyre is quick enough to remind her that she's the one who quit.

Power: N/A

Your name is PYRUET TROPOS.

You ******** love JUSTICE. Every aspect of it, from LIBERATING THE WEAK FROM THEIR OPPRESSORS to POURING YOUR VENGEANCE OUT UPON EVILDOERS, rank among your favorite ways to spend a night. You were raised and conditioned to be a LEGISLACERATOR by your lusus, having knowledge of the law embedded in your soft tiny sponge ever since you were a wiggler. However, within the last couple of sweeps, it has come to your attention that Alternian law DOES NOT REALLY COVER ALL THE THINGS THAT CONSTITUTE WRONGDOING, which means that sometimes you have to STEP OUTSIDE OF THE LAW to correct a villain. Your lusus absolutely does not approve of this and has ALL BUT FORSAKEN YOU. She may pretend to care about your well-being, but the fact that she has stopped accompanying you on your excursions says it all.

But fighting crime and wickedness is not all you do in your free time! You have a highly varied assortment of hobbies, thanks for asking.

You have a great deal of fondness for STRENGTH AND REFLEX TRAINING. You are STRONG and proud of it. You have been training for a very long time, mostly for the sake of taking down criminals who resist capture. OK, maybe that's not such a departure from justice. But you also enjoy READING! Perusing your ENORMOUS COLLECTION OF COURT CASES is a great way to pass time when you're not up for hunting lowlifes...

OK yeah currently your life pretty much revolves around ORDER AND LAW, but if there is anything to have your life revolve around, those are some pretty good choices. They are also probably your only choices, given that you were brought up by an owl hellbent on raising THE PERFECT CRIMEFIGHTER.

What will you do?

What with my natural tendency to think for years before actually acting.

Hellacious Swag

In addition to her trio of Starter-Grade Revolvers, she's earned a couple of sick badges and trinkets!

A Survival badge indicating a Novice level of understanding.

As well as one that indicates a Mastery of Combat!

Trinketwise, she has a Novice Attack Trinket, A-Style with 7 charges, and when she redeems her voucher at the end of the meta, she'll be the proud owner of an un-rechargeable Novice Agility Trinket, B-Style with 1 charge.

Why do I always wait until the last couple of hours in the day to do productive things? My productivity is lowered due to being tired, while I'm late to bed because I try staying up to get stuff done.

It occurs to me that it'd probably be better to write up the journal and then post all these.
But this gives the illusion of making progress!
