I'm sorry your day was ruined but at least it was something you could replace. There's a bright side to everything you just have to see it that way.

I had that happen to an ipod cord...except it was my pet rat that did the damage. Luckily I stole another cord from a family member haha. (Their ipod broke anyway so...)

I'm lucky enough that my cats never chew on cords. Now ribbons, strings, shoes, pillows, hair, straws, socks, and cotton balls, well that's a whole new area.

That sucks. I have a puppy that teething now, but I keep him on the bed any time he's him my room. He's to scared to jump off of it so it keeps my cords safe.
Though he did pee on my sisters lab-top, her phone, and knock over a lamp of her some how. Lol.
