Hundreds of years ago, dragons were commonly seen flying in the sky, swimming in the oceans, bathing in fire. But people weren't afraid of them. Dragons never harmed any human, young or old, man or woman, fat or thin. So the humans left them to their own business while they carried on with theirs.

That was, until some hunters discovered what a great profit dragons' scales, bones, and hearts sold for. After that, the dragons were hunted relentlessly. After a hundred years of slaughter, the dragon race was in danger of going extinct. In order to save their race, they took the forms of humans and lived among them, safe from the hunters. The massacre finally came to an end.

Now, hundreds of years later, dragons are no longer seen. They have adjusted so well to human life that no one can distinguish between man and dragon. Many people even believe that they no longer exist, or ever did exist. But they are there. ...Somewhere.
