No more walking or jogging until my ankle heals.

I hurt it pretty bad last week and now walking is a struggle.
So I have been grounded from that until further notice.

Are there any exercises that I can still do for cardio that won't hurt my ankle much?

I cant swim, the water is still way to cold.

But I thought about using the shake weight, dumbells, sit ups, push ups....
What else can I do?

Would lunges be pushing it?

Advice? D:

My bike's breaks don't work but I have an exercise bike that I can use.
Why didn't I think of that. XD

Clear anything you plan to do through your doctor. Cycling is low impact, but it's still going to place stress on your joints and could potentially prolong the healing process. I know it's frustrating to slow down your exercise program, but you have the choice between a little time off now or A LOT of time off later. Better to take it easy and let your body heal.

It's been feeling a lot better.
I have been doing some light walking.
I'm more focused on my arms and abs right now. ^^

Hope your ankle feels better soon. I'd stay off my feet as much as possible. Focus on on other exercises like sit ups, crunches, and lifting weights. It's a good time to tone, then when you are healed, you can do aerobics or cardio without the risk of further injuring your ankle. Good luck!

We always got taught to do this thing called air biking in school (I never actually participated so I don't know if it works but I've seen it being done) where you like lean on your higher back and cycle like your riding the bike in the air...if that makes sense...

You can do shadow boxing while sitting on your bed. It's a great way to work the upper body and core while keeping any kind of tension off of the injury you have.

Air biking is actually awesome for your legs and abs, I can't do it for very long.

Try some pilates perhaps?

Thanks for the suggestions. ^^
I thought my tendon was better before... But it wasn't.
So I was out for like two weeks in bed...
Gained four pounds because I could barely walk right...
D:

I should have that weight off in no time though.
