Anime versus non-anime slash

Just wondering which you like better and why.

When it comes to the actual content I prefer yaoi anime/manga. Anime boys are so precious and real boys are just okay. But when it comes to the pairings I tend to like non-anime pairings better. They just tend to be more interesting in my opinion.

For a girl who thinks about yaoi almost constanty, I don't have very many pairings I actually like. I read yaoi very, very often but I usually think the content is hot/cute/etc rather than the characters. There are a few boy/boy pairings I like but there all from non-anime.

I prefer non-anime slash, actually.

I don't watch much anime to begin with (and when I do there isn't much to slash), and I usually like the characters in other types of media better.
Most of my favourites are from video games, tv shows and books... and comics.

That said, I really love the canon pairings in indie BL comics!

I am hands-down, all for, ORIGINAL yaoi anime/manga.
In a way, you can say I despise slash yaoi... for these reasons:
1) a high majority of yaoi fans prefer slash over (imo) REAL yaoi
2) slash only brings false hope for a couple that is and never will be a yaoi couple
and
3) original yaoi never gets enough publicity over the internet because everyone is wishing for what never will be: slash

My exceptions to slash is anime's w/ no real female characters such as Kuroshitsuji, Ouran High School Host Club (although that is pushing it since the main character is a female), etc.

I prefer anime, probably cause I don't watch enough television to pair up males inside the shows...
But I do like pairing up the males in video games and books though. c:
