your right it is, umm I practice in Norse, Celtic, Greek and Egyptian paths, would that be less of an umbrella
How exactly do you blend all those together?

At least historically, the Greeks were all about syncretism, and Greco-Egyptian syncretism has a long established history. (see: the Ptolemies)
I know the Romans and the Celts mixed and the same for Romans and Germans, so I wouldn't rule it out as impossible. A royal ********? Definitely. |

Collowrath Strega Mama yeah, im not entirely sure she thought that much into it though. to me it sounds like shes cherry picking That's thoroughly possible, but I don't know enough to make the assumption yet, especially when the Greek-Greco-Egyptian wildcard is thrown in. I mean, historically, they picked up Gods everywhere. They even had altars dedicated to "all the Gods we forgot," just in case, you know, they missed one. The possibilities! They are endless! It's an interesting world we live in.
Hunh...maybe some of the IRAB's were on to something after all. wink
Now, if you are still floating around Okami, it's important to understand something about this particular forum. The people here are well researched concerning the religious practices and philosophies that they assign themselves too, and are usually well versed on a number of other philosophies and religious outlooks. This being said, if you are looking for a mentor you could probably find one...
...just be prepared to change (or at least reconsider) what you thought was the accepted truth concerning just about any religion you care to name. What is popular and what it is true are often wildly different. |
