I am not really stuck on this name, so i'm really up for suggestions. smile here is the piece. still rough. feel free to critique.
I feel stuck, frozen in the time line of life.
Like i'm in a room with no door.
Where all i have is a window.
I look out on the world and see what is happening
But my life is passing without a ripple,
I have no affect on it.
Frozen, stuck, no door but a window.
A few people come to see me,
but just as the seasons must pass,
so do the people i most care about.
Frozen, stuck, no door but a window.
My youth was but a late bud,
before i could bloom i died,
like a ripe fruit i have rotted.
Frozen, stuck, no door but a window.
I can't get out of this cycle and move forward,
I am afraid of what shall become of me,
I fear I must live here, never leave, die here.
Frozen, stuck, no door but a window.
But through all my worries, woes, and sorrow,
there is that little voice in my head,
still offering its stream of sunlight.
Frozen, maybe...
Stuck, its possible...
and even though theres no door...
there IS a window.
