I love Crystal Beasts and at the moment i have a Crystal Beast/Synchro deck.
It revolves around Crystal Pegasus/Mammoth/Tiger and some psychic tuners.
But with the incoming of synchro monsters, is the Rainbow Dragon a complete waste of time.
The thing is i love it.
Or should i keep my synchro/Crystal beast deck for competative duels.
And make a Rainbow Dragon deck for casual duels?

With this deck in mind, would Rainbow Dragon work, if i added the other Crystal Beasts?
Haamon of Striking Thunder? Worth a go?
Swap a Rose Warrior for another X-Saber Airbellum?
With the new Malefic monsters being released i'd love to make a Malefic Rainbow Dragon deck.

Well my (tournement) winning crystal beast deck revolves around my rainbow dragon/rainbow dark reviving till I bring out my rainbow neos so unless your rainbow is a major contributor to your strategy don`t use it cause it is slow

with rescue cat gone it hurt this deck as well maybe even to the point as pointless to run against top tier decks but its still an ok deck

Rainbow dragon isn't extinct- He can still be used in Rainbow Neos decks. But yeah, in strictly crystal beast he IS kind of slow.

"In my Crystal Beast deck, I ran 2 Hamon with 2 Rainbow. It did pretty well, of course it was also almost pure Crystal Beast monsters, no tuners or anything. Just a Rescue Cat"
