History of Otogakure
With Yukigakure gone, its citizens & shinobi needed a new place to reside. Dispersed, many went their own way, while others sought out new villages to gain acceptance. A few minority sought out to establish their own brand new village, one of boisterous and musical nature. They took with them the majority of the secrets from the destroyed Village Hidden in the Snow, its valuables a near necessity for survival in foreign lands. (3/14/2013)
History of Yukigakure
Yukigakure has gone through tumultuous times since it officially joined the five great nations. The first Yukikage was a man named Crisis, was in charge for a short period before being replaced by a woman known as Fuji no Yuki. Eventually, after having been gone from the village for so long, the position was handed to a boy named Tsukuyomi Hyousetsu.
From there, the activity of the village plummeted. Shinobi had died before now and during this lull, many of them disappeared from active duty. Eventually a konin by the name of Keiji Chiba returned to Yukigakure. He had been given permission to travel the world, to see the other nations. During his travels, he gathered much information about so many things. When he returned, he was given the position of Yukikage after asking Tsukuyomi to step down. The boy was never heard from again and Keiji is now the current Yukikage. With his ascension to leader of Yukigakure, the village activity has picked up and there are many new genin to train.
