This is awesome, check out this new robotic hand that the University of Chicago has developed!

Doesn't seem as fast as grippers (fingers) just yet but, as with all technology, it's emergent and I bet this will get perfected and made even more awesome soon enough!

It would be hard to make something better than fingers, especially now, since we need to develop technology more. This is an important creation though, not as good as fingers, but very good. The first universal gripper!
