Many people have spiritual paths that they follow hoping to get closer to what they see as the truth, or to cultivate a relationship with their gods, or whatever reason one might have for following a spiritual path. Some of these paths converge with other paths, the travelers exchanging knowledge and insight, while others seem to trail off into seclusion. Some paths are very old and traveled by many, while others are new and only traveled by maker of that path.

But what's the point of having just one single path? I wish to travel the network of paths freely, and even go into the places where there is no path, not to create one, but to experience being pathless.

So rest assured that while you are travelling along your path to enlightenment, I'll be there, lurking in the bushes.

So a question I've been meaning to ask here, Tsuzuki, but keep forgetting to because my brain is Swiss cheese- What you're describing, would you call it syncretic, or does that not quite fit what you do?

Not quite, though it might appear that way in the wake. What I practice is more of a scatter-brained approach to enlightenment.

Ah, I see. Thank you kindly. I've been searching for other people doing close to what I do, but I'm not holding my breath. wink Can I ask what got you started down your particular path?

As TeaDidikai puts it, by shooting up the middle pillar too fast.
