Okay. So a bit of a back-story. (fragmented sentences ahead. sorry XD;; )
I used to like this guy(who I will refer to as Football)...like a whole lot. I had it bad for this guy. My friends said he liked me back and even a mutual friend said we'd be good for each other. I told him a liked him, he didn't like me like that back. Still had it bad for him since he made my heart pound and made me happy whenever I saw him.
Anyways, summer came around and I got over Football. Summer then left. I see Football around and we also have Religion together. We don't talk and I try not to make eye contact with him. I still get that heart pounding feeling even though it's a bit weaker then before.

Anyways! So today after school ended I was talking with a friend (we shall call him Purple Shirt) who happens to be acquaintances with Football (apparently Football knows everyone in my bloody school >.<)
Where was I? Oh ya, school ended and so I was walking with Purple Shirt down the hallway like we always do after Religion. This time though I couldn't find my phone. In a panic I stepped to the side and searched for it with Purple Shirt helping me by searching the side pockets of my bag. Football then walks up and starts talking to Purple Shirt. Now, this might not seem odd but Football has never talked to Purple Shirt during Religion, before it starts or even after Religion when we're walking down the hall. This is the first time in two and a half weeks that Football has done this. I also caught him staring at me when he had already acknowledged Purple Shirt.

So I went to tell my friend since I normally go to her for advice. She said he might like me.
I should also tell you that according to every mutual friend we have and even a friend of his that I don't know that well said that I am the only girl to ever like him.
I'm pretty sure he also knows that I don't like him anymore since again, we have mutual friends that would tell him this sort of thing.

Am I over-reacting? Over thinking? Should I just let it go?
Does he maybe like me now? Is he thinking about if he likes me?
Was him staring at me just a twitch in his eye?

Help me out because I'm really confused D:

And Purple Shirt is just a friend. I have more guy friends then girl friends so it's bound to happen that I walk and talk with him XD
And he's lost his iPod so he wouldn't want a friend to loose something as well.
