Using gaia to basically vent. For some reason I can only finish decklists when I post them here....but yeah...

It's pretty bad at the moment. Still not sure if I should go for synchro or swarm.

-1 Apprentice Magician (I recommend against this card in Fortune Ladies because it special summons face-down. Never a good thing.)
-1 Cyber Dragon (You should run 2-3 or none at all.)
+1 Fortune Lady Fire (A useful card in Fortune Ladies. Always try to make room for it.)
+1 Sorcerer of Dark Magic (A card I consider VERY useful in Fortune Ladies, especially if you're running 2x Chaos Sorcerer.)

-3 Hidden Book of Spell (I advise against this card. I don't think the effect is worth the cost.)
+3 Dark Bribe (In a format where spell/traps will rule the game, you'll need these.)

I'm gonna be honest...I'm not going to listen to a single thing off of that.

Apprentice is great with Light....debatable as a searcher though since I have so many others.

Cyber Dragon would be alright at 2, but it adds bulk.

Fire is horrible. It's a 1-shot card. If anything I should -1 to it for something.

SDM just plain sucks as I'd need to use both Chaos Sorcerers just to summon it.

Hidden Book of Spell has no cost other than shuffling your deck....if you can't deal with that than there's just no salvaging you.

All of your suggestions would make this worse....Dark Bribe is debatable but I don't know what I would trade out for it.

Perhaps.... -1 Fire, -1 Solemn, +2 Bribe

If you build the deck right, Fire could be amazing a la Interdimensional Matter Transporter.

Also, seeing as all you have to do is have Dark out a turn for its level to become 6 as well as the fact that any of the fortune ladies could quite easily get to 6 depending...

But look at it this way. In a format without Heavy Storm, SODM is going to be a great asset and running 1 instead of 3 makes the deck run fluid enough with a mere -1.

Also, I mixed up Hidden Book of Spell and Magical Stone Excavation's effects, which should explain the misunderstanding.

I still don't agree with you about Fire...but I'm seeing my error in SoDM.

It's understandable, I totally forgot about the card till Axean suggested it when I made a build for the star dragons.
