I've decided to be a teacher instead, it's an honest profession I can also be able to support myself and I can get my degrees sooner.
I originally wanted to be a child psychiatrist but I'm to afraid of being sued and stuff, that and I could get laid off.

With being a teacher I have a very secure job, I can continue learning stuff, and I can do what I like to do.
Plus it is fun.
I start classes in January.

i think I'm going to start out as an elementary teacher then after I get some years under my belt I'll go to secondary.

Good luck with that. Teachers are underpaid and underappreciated. And watch out for bratty children. Kids like my youngest brother give teachers a hard time, especially if said teacher is too soft spoken or kind.

You may be able to support yourself but you won't be getting paid a whole lot of money especially right when you start out. Just keep that in mind.

Come be a teacher in South Africa? [: There is a huge shortage.
Also, being a teacher is a good choice in career since there are
huge shortages of teachers and therefore will always be a need
for them. Provided that you like children of course. [:
