After seeing a frog OTK deck(using mass driver if that helps) I had a thought for a varient using normal monsters, heart of the underdog, and full salvo I was wondering if I could get some help making it work because to inflict at least 8000 damage requires 40 monsters to be discarded.
My ideas since then have been to include something to do the last bits of damage in the same turn taking advantage of the newly discarded(blasting the ruins) or just before discarded cards(like muka muka).
Any suggestions?

First of all, let's get your ideas down into a decklist first. Build a deck using Yugioh Virtual Dueling (http://www.xerocreative.com/), write it down in this or another thread, and we'll all look at it and make suggestions.

X2 A cat of ill omen

X2 Dragons mirror(might be replaced with blasting the ruins or muka muka)

X2 Full salvo
Extra Deck
X2 Five headed dragon
X2 B. Skull dragon
and 11 random synchros on the off chance Flamvell guard is used
Basic strategy use heart of the underdog to draw until full salvo and enough normal monsters are drawn and then activate full salvo to deal most of the damage(if not all) then if possible my back-up plan is dragon's mirror to well...you know...
I know its not a well thought out plan and thats why I need the help. I'm not expecting to win every duel but I would still love to win SOME duels with it.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Plaguespreader top deck into a normal monster. Maybe play foolish burial to thin out your deck

The only trouble i've had in the tests i've done both in real duels and those in my videogame stardust overdrive were the following:
1.I'm defensless while I wait to get enough cards in hand(anywhere from 3 to 7 turns)
2.when I end my turn unable to use a full salvo a TON of cards go to the grave and become untouchable and unusable except for with cards like dragons mirror that don't show up until MUCH later
3.If my opponent activates a card to negate any of my spells or traps
-I can't do anything about it
-I'm screwed because theres no real back-up strategy
4.If I draw a card like magical mallet or cat of ill omen my cycle ends early and i'm unable to do anything for another turns which is where problems like #'s 1 and 2 rear their ugly heads

i'd suggest throwing in several counter traps to preven the opponent from negating Full Salvo, some stall cards like Swords of Revealing Light and Nightmare Steel Cage in to protect your life points while you wait for the cards, Infinite Card like Plasma said and Pot of Avarice to recycle any monsters sent to the graveyard

hm, if you use high level normals maybe throwing in Montage Dragon as a second option might help.
