I love (Visual Kei) J-Rock more than anything,
so I was wondering,
what's everybody's favorite J-Rock band?

Lol, does Miyavi count ? I like The Gazette. <---Did I spell it right. Sorry, I'm more into Kpop. Haven't listened to J-rock in a long time.

Have listened for too many bands now 8D
Used to be gazette,but now I don't really know. Alice Nine's GEMINI was really good. (even though it looks like shou totally took over rukis thoughtful pose(and it suits him better teehee)) I suppose all PSC block is my favourite now. including kagrra, and myv, even tho theyre not there.

I have many faves from the J-rock genre...but here are a few have listened to recently:

1. Kanojo - UPLIFT SPICE

2. Naihi Shinsho, Dreamer, アンサイズニア - ONE OK ROCK...yes I am awear that one of the guitarists has since quit the band...he got aressted for being a perv...O_o...but I just love the energy and vibrancy this band has - their music is AWESOME!

3. Distortion - THE UNIQUE STAR. I don't actually know a lot about this band....

4. Cross Drawn By Finger, Border - The Brown....I wish I could sing like this chick....

5.Diamond - Lightbringer. The only female Visual Kei band I know....


So yeah...those are 5 of my many faves. Other bands you should check out are 'Asian Kungfu Generation' and 'Rintoshite Shigure'.

I would prefer proper Rock bands from Japan to this sort of thing, personally. Not too fond of cookie-cutter Rock performed by men dressed up in what might as well be drag, but such is the problem when one focuses more on the aesthetics of a band rather than the actual music itself.
