Thursday.Twenty-Sixth of August, Twenty-Ten.

Okay, I have a really important test comming up next week.

Also someone from a program that visits our school came to talk to us about a program in which a large group of people our age travel to Africa, help teach in the only boarding school in the area, paint the entire school, run the only Sports Carnival in the area, clime Kilimanjarao...

Anyway, I've been looking it up and I'm considering going. Well, reading through the itinerary, it's a pretty full-on trip, and up until the past year I've always considered myself to be a very lazy person. But now I kinda just want to get out of my little rut for a while, and I actually think this might be a really good idea.

Congrats on finishing week 2! To me, if felt hard running for 90 second intervals. So I've been afraid to start week 3 but I'll pick it up soon. Running for 3 mins straight is scary gonk
PostPosted: Wed Sep 01, 2010 2:05 am
Thankyou ^ ^
Yeah, I thought the same thing about week three.
And I only realised it was three minutes when I looked at the podcast on Sunday night.

Going surprisingly well. The first interval of three minutes feels like forever, but the whole thing is a tad shorter than most weeks, and the last run is awesome because the podcast I have tells me when there's only a minute left.

So I totally recomend starting Week three as soon as you're ready. It really isn't as scary as it sounds, AND there are only two repetitions of each. :3

Anyway- I'm on temporary haitus as far as updating and recording food and excercise goes. Just because I've been freaking out lately, sat four state-wide exam during today and yesterday, and have more exams and assignments next week.

But, I am still eating pretty much the sorts of things, and excercising. I've lost another kilo or so since I updated last. I think I was under-eating on the weekend, especially Sundday. Not intentionally, but just because I had so much else going on in my head. But I'm totally back on track now.

Yikes, good luck with your exams! I have some mid-sems coming up soon, too.

Both your intake and exercise look great for the past couple of days. =)

The Africa trip sounds like fun and good work, leaving your mark on those kids' lives. It would probably spice up your resume, too. Hopefully that works out for you if you decide to go.

What podcast do you use?
I use PodRunner Intervals with DJ Beatsmith, but it doesn't tell you there's only a minute left... I want to know what you use. (:

The music is kind of boring for mine, so a change of sound would definitely help for me.

@Stars: I actually use Robert Ullrey's podcasts. He doesn't tell you for every run, but he has done so a couple of times. Hm.. I'm considering trying out another podcast- whilst this one works really well for me, a change would be refreshing.

Monday.Thirteenth of September, Twenty-Ten.

Thank ******** block exams are over!

I'm just... so releived. Had a great weekend. Would have been better if the friend I was staying with, and I, were able to go to our friend's surprise party, but there was this sudden issue with her parents and they kinda ruined our plans.

Still had fun, got to go watch her grading, and went to see MacBeth on Saturday night.

That, and, I have this sort of bludge week at the moment where we still have school, but we're really not doing much except finding out our marks. So yeah... I've been in a great mood all day. I'd feel better about myself if I hadn't over-done the portion size at dinner again- but as someone who used to pig out every night, I do it far less frequently.
