I'm new here and would love to post some of my art but I do not see an "upload image/file" option. How do I post my work here?

Press "post reply", press IMG , then a bar going to apper on the top of the screen , press on it and allow access , copy/paste html in the bar

you should make your own gallery and post it in galleries subforum

Before you can do what RzDz tells you, you're going to need to join a website that hosts images such as photobucket.com, flickr.com, deviantart.com, sheezyart.com, imageshack.us, picturetrail.com, and so on. There's a plethora of sites that will host your images so that you can hyperlink it through Gaia's html.
