whoa, YOU'RE into ska?

I was surprised to find out an old friend of mine was into ska.

He called me yesterday and said: "Hey man, what's up?"
"Not much, you?"
"Well, I called to tell you something totally cool, but you might hate me."
"Yeah?"
"Well, I got tickets to see...REEL BIG FISH AND MXPX!!"
"Hey, me too."
"Really?"
"Yeah, only I got mine like a week ago."
"Aw man."
"I think that's an owned on you. But hey, we'll get to hang out at the show now"
"Yeah, and I'll get to see you skank you ska-tard."

Everytime I go to this one club that hosts ska shows, I'm shocked as to who I see there. And since I graduated high school, it's gotten progressively weirder. Like, at the last show I went to, I saw 4 girls from my old HS's cheerleading squad who were the worst sort or preppies the last time I saw them. I took it as fate playing a cruel joke on me.
