Lucky Egg (and other rare held items)

Sooo... Has anyone ever found a Lucky Egg? eek
I've been wanting one for a long time now. Finding Chansey is hard enough, let along finding one holding a Lucky Egg (5% chance, wonderful). Has anyone ever been lucky enough to find one? lol Got a spare?

Come to think of it, I think mine had Leftovers >.> I have two of them for some reason and I'm wondering if that's why.

I'm thinking of going into the wild and using Thief a lot to see what I can find xd

my snorlax also had leftovers, you sure its only 5%?

I think that percentage is for Munchlax holding Leftovers.

also, if you head to the winner's path on your pokewalker, you can also pick up Leftovers, and a bunch of other good stuff using the item dowsing maching

Chansey has a low chance of holding a lucky egg.

A great way to find it is having a stantler with the ability called frisk which will tell you what chansey is holding so you don't have to catch a bunch of chanseys.

Another way is having a pokemon that knows the attack called theif, which will take any item that chansey is holding as long if the attacker isn't currently holding anything.

Not really. From what I've seen, you need a good amount to get the good pokemon. Items, you just need to be lucky.

i looked on serebii you need to get 8000 steps to get a chance at getting munchlax or beldum and.

Steps on the Pokewalker determine what percentage each item has of appearing. 3nodding

That lists each item on each course, and their respective steps/percentages. Thing is, on the small chance that you have a rare item on that particular turn of using the radar, there's still a chance you wont successfully find it. whee Unless the item you find is determined at the point of successfully finding it in the grass, rather than when you initially use the radar, in which case the chance is that exact percentage listed.
I'm not sure how it works exactly, but it's one of those two possibilities.
