At the beginning of the year I posted a horoscope thread with general fitness horoscopes for each sign. There was some interest in possibly doing a monthly update. I put it off for a while because I had a kind of hard time in finding fitness horoscopes but now that I've found a source I would like to start doing a monthly horoscope update. So, this thread will update every month with specifically fitness focused horoscopes. The previous month's horoscope will be stored on the second post of this thread.

Capricorn: While you're preoccupied with things like cash and plans for the future on the 1st and 2nd, you could very well be neglecting your workout. And that is not a good idea! Because if you want everything to work out well, you really need to make sure that you are taking extra good care of yourself. So instead of worrying, strap on your tennies and go for a nice long run. Don't be surprised if all the answers come to you of their own accord, accordingly! Come up with a creative way to work out on the 4th. Canoeing is really fun! As is crawling, or kayaking. And they are all good for you. On the 8th and 9th, go ahead and let yourself get emotional. Seriously, it's good for you. Work may be working you on the 14th, 15th and 16th, but don't let it interfere with your workout. A life decision is easier to make if you know you are doing the healthiest possible thing on the 21st and 22nd. Feeling great on the 25th, 26th and 27th? Why yes, that is related to just how diligent you have been when it comes to your health and wellness routine. Do something nice for somebody on the 30th. Feeling good about yourself is healthy!

Aquarius: This is looking to be quite a month for you. You are feeling great and you are looking even better. Now, are you working out regularly? What a silly question! How could you be having a spectacular month without working out! On the 1st and 2nd, be sure you do your very best to enjoy the heck out of your workouts. Swim, run, walk at a snail's pace. It doesn't really matter what you do, as long as you do it -- and on a regular basis. On the 7th, you want to try something new. Great! Try it! Even if the beach is closed because of a wildlife rehabilitation project on the 12th and 13th, you can still get your workout in. Just run on the city streets. Heck, it might even prove interesting. Business demands your attention on the 18th. Fine. But do not forget to work out, eat right and get enough sleep! You have a ton of energy on the 23rd, and you couldn't feel better about it. The sun is shining on the 28th and 29th, so get outside! Even if the sun isn't shining, you should go for your run, actually. On the 30th, listen to the sound of your blood pumping. Gorgeous, no?

Pisces: One of the things you really want to accomplish with your workout is to find a good balance between your corporeal self and your spirit. Work on this on the 1st and 2nd. The easiest way to get started, of course, is by working out, sleeping well and getting in a well-balanced three meals a day. The rest will follow. You could be surprised at just how positive your yoga workout feels on the 3rd, 4th and 5th. Nothing like really doing the right thing for yourself to get everything working together! Feeling sleepy on the 10th and 11th? By golly, get some sleep, then! Check in with your regular diet on the 14th, 15th and 16th. Is it regular? Is it balanced? Don't let work get in the way of working out on the 21st and 22nd -- even if your boss says they don't care about your yoga schedule. You care, so you will figure out a way around the problem. Sunrise sun salutations, anyone? A teacher or coach has some wise words on the 27th. You feel wonderful, in body and soul, on the 30th. Congratulations on your consistent work out!

Aries: This month, you really want to focus on being active. After all, summer, the healthiest season there is, is just getting started! It's high time, on the 1st and 2nd, to get outside and get serious about some exercise. A long walk or a quick kayak or even a long weekend trek to the wilderness are all terrific possibilities. Regardless: By the 3rd and 4th, you want to be getting your body as tired as possible thanks to as much outdoor activity as you can possibly get! The 5th and 6th are great days to finally achieve something you've been trying to achieve. Healthy eating? Healthy living? Healthy emotional relationships? Heck, it's all within reach. On the 10th and 11th, you should try working a little harder than usual. Low energy on the 14th or 15th? Don't give up -- keep working out! Overeating is never the right solution. Instead of ingesting all those unhealthy sugar substitutes, why not take a nap on the 17th? On the 21st, renew your commitment to your super-committed fitness routine. Busy at home? Busy at work? The 25th, make time to work out no matter what else is going on. Boxing rocks. So does ballet. Heck, breathing exercises are awesome, too. Just do something on the 30th to wrap up your month right!

Taurus: The 1st and 2nd are good days to think really, really super hard about what skipping your exercise workout and eating badly and staying up too late and sleeping in when you can, but usually you can't, so you gradually build up a sleep deficit, does for your body and soul. Does all that sound like a good idea? No way! So you aren't going to do that, right? To signal to yourself that you are serious about getting serious, go out and sign up for step aerobics right away on the 4th. Good. Now, swim or jog at least once before the 6th. Inertia? Oh no! On the 10th, you must battle any impulses towards the inert. And get some Vitamin D, courtesy of the sun (plus ample sun block, of course!) on the 14th and 15th. If you keep skipping the gym to sit inside and watch TV, then throw out your TV on the 20th. Seriously! On the 23rd, you might have to put in some hard work in order to keep your workout interesting. Well, what are you waiting for? On the 28th, don't think: Just do. In a sweaty way. On the 30th, don't give up. Even if you are super sweaty!

Gemini: Whether you're feeling extremely ambitious or not so very ambitious at all on the 1st, you would be well advised not to skip your workout entirely. Not that you were even considering that! You know better than to do something so foolish as skip the one thing that's always a one-hundred-percent stress reliever, guaranteed. Good, just checking. On the 2nd, hit the gym again. You feel pretty great by the end of the workout, dontcha? Ha! See? By the 6th and 7th, you're ready for a change. Running instead of jogging? Rock climbing instead of deep sea diving? Whatever it is that catches your fancy, go for it! A new perspective is just what you need on the feel-good 10th and 11th. Talk to your personal trainer and see what they have to say. Re-evaluate your health routine on the 14th, 15th and 16th. What's working? What's not really working so much? Take note. By the 20th, a tight hamstring that's overdue for some serious stretching could catch up with you, if you don't slow down. On the 25th or 26th, go ahead and go discount shopping. You could use a new pair of workout pants, it's true. On the 30th, wrap up the month with a really fun workout!

Cancer: Here's a rule to always follow: Stretch before you start running. Sounds simple, right? But sometimes it's the simplest things that we forget to do. For example: Workout everyday. Sure, it's easy to remember. Yet, this stuff still seems to be pretty darned easy to 'forget.' This month, starting on the 1st, focus on the easy stuff. Forget that double back bend. Don't fret about halving your one-mile times. Keep it simple: Stretch. Workout. Eat. Sleep. See? It's not as easy as it sounds sometimes. Announce that staying in shape is your priority, when anyone at work asks on the 4th or 5th. You feel pretty good on the 10th and 11th, right? Stick to your keep-it-simple rules and you'll feel even more fabulous on the 12th and 13th. By the 18th, 19th and 20th, you'll be feeling ready for something more complex. How about adding protein to your diet? Your healthy present is preparing you for a solid future. Remember that when you feel like 'forgetting' to go to the gym on the 25th. How about a nice walk around the block on the 30th? Inhale -- it's summer!

Leo: Do your very best to bring some enthusiasm to your workout on the 1st and 2nd. A good attitude will do wonders for your workout's effectiveness. Tap into all the good energy that your vigorous gym workouts are releasing to make the most of your work days on the 6th and 7th. But no, you should not work late instead of going for your weekly swim in the bay! Surfing the Internet is not a substitute for surfing the ocean's waves, and don't forget it, when you're feeling a little lazy on the 12th and 13th. An all-around health routine is the goal. You feel like you're getting a little closer to said goal on the lovely 14th, 15th and 16th. Feel great about the good work you've done on the 21st. But don't stop moving forward! Spend some time tracking your emotions on the 25th and 26th. Get in there deep and figure out what makes you tick! (Yes, silly, it is healthy). End the month on the 30th with a great big burst of enthusiasm. It'll propel you into next month with all the healthy energy you could wish for.

Virgo: A new workout could really give you the extra kick you need to remind you why you love working out in the first place. So, on the 1st, slow down if you usually start out fast. Jump if you generally dive. Run if you walk, walk if you run. Whatever you do, don't do it the way you usually would! On the 5th, you're ready to see how well this whole 'try something new' thing is working out. Good? Great? So-so? Well, sometimes you just have got to experiment! A little soul searching on the 10th and 11th could show you just exactly where you need to go with an emotional issue. And don't be surprised if working out is what prompted the whole thought process! Get more sleep if you're feeling beat on the 17th and 18th. Flexibility is nearly always totally key to staying healthy, so get flexible on the 21st. On the 25th, let your restlessness lead you to the track. On the 30th, you may not skip your workout. Not if you want to wrap up the month right! And you know you do. So get out there -- and get sweaty!

Libra: You feel pretty fantastic on the 1st. You feel great again on the 2nd. Is it a coincidence that you're working out regularly? With a super cutie? Who happens to be a health nut? Ah ha! See? Not only is working out good for you, it's good for your love life, too! Don't let a snafu with the squash team on the 5th cause you to cancel your team membership! No, no, no! You need to go for a jog and meet up with the team next time. Working out is good for your brain, as you see when you have a great idea while rowing across the sound on the 10th and 11th. Get working out with a group, and enjoy the great group energy you folks generate on the 14th, 15th and 16th. Don't spend any money on the 21st and 22nd. Instead, get that rush from your own natural adrenaline! Run, don't walk, to catch up with that quick cutie at the track on the 28th. Don't let them run away before you get their number! Find balance on the 30th. Once you do, someone special will come find you.

Scorpio: What's the best way to work off stress generated in your home life? On the 1st (and every day), the answer is clear: Work out! You'll let off steam and get some real insight into what the heck is going on between you and your roommate/partner/best friend. Keep your heart healthy with a saturated fat-free diet and lots of aerobic activity on the 3rd, 4th and 5th. Don't let your business life take priority over your personal health, no matter how busy things get on the 10th and 11th. Stretch! Or you could pull a muscle on the somewhat tensed-up 14th, 15th and 16th. Everything feels easier once you're done with your seriously de-stressing jog on the 17th and 18th. You are finally feeling relaxed and happy on the 21st and 22nd. Here's a bet that that has nearly everything to do with just how well you've been sticking to getting to the gym, despite the stresses you've been experiencing this month! A hottie on the elliptical machine inspires you to get to the weight room on the 25th, 26th and 27th. You could very well be ending the month with a post-workout date with said hottie on the 30th. But don't forget to work out, first!

Sagittarius: Don't you try to talk your way out of working out on the 1st and 2nd! Sure, you can be pretty convincing, when you want to be. But no, that does not mean it is even remotely ok for you to turn that power of persuasion on yourself! You have to work out, period. No discussion. Ok? If you're feeling worn out on the 3rd, 4th or 5th, that does not mean that you can skip your workout. However, it does mean you should call it a night early and get some extra rest. Eat healthy on the 8th and 9th. Go the distance when it comes to your run on the 14th, 15th and 16th. You feel positively high on life on the 22nd and 23rd. Yes, this has to do with all the endorphins your workout has generated. Eating well is one of the secrets to a long and healthy life. Doing so in the company of others is exponentially healthier. So host an organic feast for your friends on the 28th and 29th. Catch up on your shuteye on the 30th. A good, solid REM cycle is sublime for your mental processing. And pay attention to any dreams you remember. It's healthy to know what's happening in your subconscious!

Capricorn: Slow and steady wins the race. Keep that in mind on the 1st, when you might find yourself so concerned about how a certain pair of pants might look on you three-months-of-regular-workouts from now that you lose sight of the here and now of working out (i.e., that you workout because it's good for you, and it helps you feel good). Sure, it's nice to have goals. But no, you shouldn't get too caught up in the future when what's really important is the here and now. Don't waste your energy getting angry about something stupid that happened at work on the 4th, 5th and 6th. Instead, go work out! Keep things in perspective by staying in touch with how you really feel on the 9th, 10th and 11th. A steady pulse rate is going to keep you even-keeled on the 16th and 17th, so don't forget how important it is to keep your heart healthy! By the 22nd, you're going to need to put in the work if you're going to reap the rewards. You progress quicker than you would have thought possible on the 27th. Relax a little on the 30th and 31st.

Aquarius: How's your breath work? Are you holding your breath when you work out? Are you forgetting to let go of the tensions that accumulate during the day by letting your body relax thanks to the rhythmic, regular way you inhale and release stale, pent-up air from your lungs? Think about it on the 1st. Experiment, a little. You could have a revelatory experience! You feel deeply oxygenated and remarkably well-rested on the 4th, 5th and 6th. A great couple of ideas occur to you on the 9th, 10th and again on the 11th. Yep, that's what happens when you get the blood flowing to your brain! Don't let an emotional upset bum you out on the 16th. Breathe through it and you'll really learn something. How connected do you feel to the earth? Try some grounding exercises on the 20th. Get in touch with your deepest feelings on the 25th, and you could find you feel way, way, way better all around. Relax on the 27th! It just feels right. A couple of intense workouts make you feel wonderful on the 30th and 31st. So go to the gym, even if you don't really feel like it.

Pisces: As luck would have it, if you get to your pool a little on the late side on the 1st, it's going to turn out that your pool is open late, today. And nobody knew, so it's almost totally empty! If you forgot to pack your lunch on the 2nd, you're going to discover a delicious, nutritious organic sandwich shop just around the block from your office. It's almost like the world is conspiring to help you be healthy, this month! And maybe, as a matter of fact, it is. You have plenty of free time on the 5th. So take a nice long walk by the water! You notice a real difference in your body, thanks to your regular workouts on the 7th and 8th. Be sure to thank yourself for doing such a good job taking care of you! Write yourself a love letter on the 13th. You deserve it! Sometimes work is a little stressful. If that's the case on the 18th, do your best just to settle down and concentrate on getting your own tasks accomplished. Confront a relationship issue that arises on the 23rd. Being strong is healthy. Go to your yoga class, even if you feel draggy on the 27th. Why not try ballroom dancing on the 31st? Could be just what the doctor ordered!

Aries: Yep, you're bored. When it comes to your workout on the 1st, you are just so totally way over it. You don't want to do it. But rather than give up, you'd be well advised to put on your thinking cap and come up with a new routine, and quick, before your muscles atrophy and your brain turns to mush (that's what happens, you know, when you stop working out). You can do it. You just have to make a serious effort. Formulate new goals for your new workout on the 4th, 5th and 6th. If you start with yoga, aim to show up for class five times a week. If you're running, go a little further every day. If you're fencing, try to get a couple of good lunges in. En garde! You're feeling invigorated and more engaged already on the 9th, 10th and 11th. An emotional day might make you think you should bow out of working out on the 16th. In fact, the exact opposite is true. This is the moment you've been waiting for to get really super serious! Do the boring stuff (like stretching) on the 21st. Yep, that includes making an appointment at the dentist. How's your new workout coming on the 27th? Make a resolution on the 31st. Where do you want to be in your workout next month?

Taurus: Think your workout fees are too high on the 1st? Well, try calculating how expensive it will be to stop working out. Missed work days due to back problems, carpal tunnel incidents and a lowered attention span should all be factored in. See? Your workout is a real bargain! If you need to save money, that is really not the place to cut corners. On the other hand, if you can get by without a new workout swimsuit, then don't buy a new workout swimsuit on the 2nd and 3rd. Doing things right doesn't have to mean doing them at full price. Your emotional health is also really important. Keep that in mind on the 7th and 8th. If you can't afford a professional therapist, talk to trusted friends who you know don't have their own agenda. You are feeling like a million bucks by the 12th and 13th! See what staying healthy can do for you? Be as good an influence as you can on your colleagues, especially on the 18th and 19th. If you're tired on the 24th, maybe it's time for you to get more sleep. On the 29th, 30th and 31st, you end the month on a really healthy note!

Gemini: There's doing things in good measure, and then there's overdoing things. This is true for healthy things, too. So while it's great to workout everyday, it might not be so good to workout twelve hours a day. It's great to eat healthy, but it's not great to freak out to the point of heart palpitations if you miss your daily portion of fresh blueberries one day. There's a lot to be said for being even-keeled, you know. Keep this in mind on the 1st. 'Everything in moderation' and 'chill' could be your two mottos this month. That said, it wouldn't hurt to check in on your diet on the 5th. Are there elements of what you're eating that could be improved? For example, skipping lunch and just eating a chocolate bar to get you through the afternoon? Hang out with friends on the 9th, 10th and 11th. Don't overspend (it's bad for your emotional health!) on the 16th and 17th. Love is something that's always good for you, so meet up with that sweetie from corporate on the 22nd. Meet up with them again on the 23rd and 24th, if you still think they're good for you. Concentrate at work on the 30th and 31st. It's financially healthy.

Cancer: Do you really think it's a super excellent idea to work all the time, ignore your relationships, skip meals and drink eight cups of coffee a day? Of course you don't think that's a super excellent idea! So why are you doing it? On the 1st, take a long, hard, honest look at your habits, healthy and not so. Evaluate and assess. What should you do more of? What should you do less of? What should stay the same? Even if you're feeling really engaged with your brainwork on the 5th, you should take a time out to get your blood pumping. A healthy body produces the most exquisitely original and inspired thoughts, after all. You can't be all go-go-go, all the time. And that's as true for your workout as for any other part of your life. So take it slow and steady at the gym on the 10th, and keep it slow and steady on the 11th. By the 16th and 17th, you'll be warmed up and ready to go at top speed. Nothing like a super intense workout to really get your endorphins going, as you find out on the 23rd. Sometimes a yoga workout is the best way to find balance, so you might want to head to the studio on the 27th. Sleep is one of the gifts that keeps on giving, so get some extra shuteye on the 30th and 31st.

Leo: Know what's great for romance? Working out! Yep, there's nothing like getting in a good workout in order to relieve stress and show up on your honey bun's front door relaxed and happy and full of a good, calm, healing energy. So if you've got a big date (and it looks like you do) on the 1st, then get to the gym after work! Relieve work stress with a combination of a healthy, nutritious diet, regular sleep and, of course, physical exercise during the intense days at work on the 5th. Your body likes to learn new things as much as your brain does, so try something totally new on the 9th, 10th and 11th. Dancing, rock climbing, Pilates -- as long as it's new, you should try it! Go running with someone you like to chat with on the 16th or 17th. Would it help inspire you if you monitor your heart rate? Test out a new gadget on the 22nd. Romance is healthy, so cuddle on the 27th and 28th. Play a game of pickup ball on the 30th and 31st. You'll feel great doing something spontaneous!

Virgo: As the month gets started, you might have to force yourself to slow down and stretch before you get going on a workout. You might be a teeny tiny bit impatient on the 1st. While it's great to really want to get out there and go, it's totally important that you make sure you take time to warm up, first. Otherwise, you'll strain something and be out of the game entirely! Is there a swim coach or soccer coach from your childhood or high school years who had a big impact on you? Make sure you take time to send them a note or pay them a visit on the 5th and 6th. Take a look at how much money you're spending on junk food on the 10th. Is it a lot? Seeing it in terms of dollars and cents might help you cut down. Speak truthfully on the 15th -- it's the best way to clear the air. An extra hour at the gym will leave you feeling fabulous on the 20th and 21st. Ask that special somebody to join you at the gym on the 26th. You'll both be thrilled about the great company and the great workout! Put on your favorite outfit and go out dancing on the 31st. It's healthy!

Libra: Why stick to the same old boring routine if you feel like it's the same old boring routine? On the 1st, you're ready to try something new. Why not go all out? Don't just run, marathon! Don't just climb, sign up for cliff scaling. Yep, the wilder it is, the better. You'll be anything but bored. By the 5th and 6th, an onset of emotionality could leave you a little bit stunned. Go for a swim and let the feelings come as they will. You'll definitely have some insight by the end of the process, and that is super healthy. The 9th, 10th and 11th are days for going over your relationships past and present with a fine-toothed comb. What's worked for you? What hasn't? Talk it over with good friends on the 15th. Don't forget to eat three round meals a day and a couple of organic snacks in between, particularly on the 20th. You need the fuel! Sure, work is intense on the 25th. That doesn't mean your workout can't be intense, as well. Nurture yourself in every way possible on the 30th and 31st. You deserve a lot of goodness!

Scorpio: If you're feeling a little low on the 1st, don't go to the mall. Shopping is only going to tire you out without giving you a meaningful lift. Instead, put on your tennies, go outside and go for a run. You'll feel fantastic and it will make it a lot easier to sleep, which will mean you wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world on the 2nd. Woo-hoo! This is a great way to get your month going just the right way. On the 5th, it's high time you tackle some of those leftover feelings from an old relationship in order to avoid feeling those low-lows. Hit the gym, hard, on the 10th. Yep, you know it's going to help you relax. Think about how great you're going to feel when you've finished with this grueling workout to help get you through said grueling workout on the 15th. If you don't have any plans on the 20th, make some! It's really healthy to spend time with your friends, you know. Shape up on the 25th! Yep, those muscles are itching to get used. A new workout is always fun. So jazz things up a little on the 30th and 31st.

Sagittarius: Get ready for a pretty ship-shape month on the 1st, because you have been working out and you are about to start feeling really, well, well-worked-out! And how great does that feel? Pretty great, it sounds like! Keep an ear to the ground on the 5th and 6th, and you could pick up some pretty great new diet tips. Why not give eating five small, healthy, organic meals a day a shot? Wouldn't hurt to try! Oh my goodness! Who's touching their toes on the 10th and 11th? Is that the same person who could barely reach their knees, just a few short months ago? Is that you? Why yes! Amazing what a regular yoga workout can do. You aim high on the 16th and 17th. But remember to congratulate yourself for just plugging along from day to day, getting in your workout every morning. Help an out of shape friend get to the gym when their car breaks down on the 22nd, 23rd or 24th. You look hot on the 27th and 28th. Well, working out has some serious side benefits! Analyze your goals on the 30th and 31st. Be realistic.
