The only thing wrong with it is that you cut yourself, theres no reason anyone should harm themselves. If theres a problem, get away from it. If your cutting yourself for no reason, then you have a problem and need to get help. That's my opinion.

Just because someone is emo doesn't mean they cut themselves..it's just a fashion style for the most part.

Dear, there is nothing wrong with being emo, goth, punk, scene, or anything else. Now, just like in mainstream American culture, there are certain things in subcultures which might be best to stay away from. However, they are no worse or any more 'bad' than any other culture or anything.
