Literature that makes it possible for squids to be in western stories, for punks to have fish mohawks, and for men to survive nuclear holocausts by wearing cockroach suits. A genre that's inspired by grindhouse movies, Troma movies, pulp fiction, surrealism and absurdism in all forms, and many other weird things which vary from author to author. Most of the works also tend to be a bit on the short side, and so there is usually not much in the way of dicking around when there's plot to be had.
I've been following this genre for a while and love it to death, and really my only complaint is that the editing in some works can sometimes be a bit shitty.
