Emotionless

The emotion lies within the body
Atleast, thats what im told.
But I feel nothing in my skin,
I feel nothing in my soul.

This emtiness was nothing
untill you brought it out.
And now i feel no presence
and all i see is doubt.

I can't take this anymore
it rips me open slowly.
Careing for myself is nothing
Nobody can fix it wholly.

I walk into the bathroom
a bottle in my hand.
The pain will wear away slowly
this is the last stand.

I look into the mirror
with no smile on my face.
Im sure this ill hurt my family
Im sure im a disgrace.

Emotions fill my head
only when im ready to die.
Why is this the only time
that i can feel myself cry?

It hurts me even more
to know what makes me tick.
But it can be all over
with one simple trick.

Shattered glass is at my feet
from the mirror that is broken.
I couldnt stand to look
at the thing that was left unspoken.

Death is with us now
no matter what you do.
Fate is decided
and it can take you too.

Away from it you stay
for you dont feel the same.
But one day i promise
youll want to play the game.

Keep everyone close
no matter who they are.
They will bring you out
no matter the size of scar.

And if you have no one
who will share in your dismay,
send me a message
and ill wont tell you to pray.

Wow! Absolutely amazing. I loved the way it flowed, and how it made me feel. There were a few gramatical errors and "careing" should be "caring", but otherwise it was really good. I read it twice, and thought it got better each time. I love the metaphors you used. I'd be happy to read more!!
