Okay, so basically amoung my friends, I'm just another one of the guys. I have one friend my age that's a girl. But the big thing, is that I have a HUGE crush on one of my guy friends. We always hang out, and get along better than any other two people I know, we're always giggling about something the other said, and weve been friends since elementary school. I don't know if he likes me, or how I should go about finding out, but I'm mainly afraid of ruining our friendship.Can I get some help over here?

I'd say be direct and ask him out, but insert an escape clause. I mean something like, "There's (this thing) on Friday night that I'd really love to go to with you. We could go just as friends, or it could be something more." You offered him a date so he gets the idea, but he has the option to say you're just going as friends and then you can keep being friends.
