Pokemon 5th Generation in 3D?

Alright so by now everyone knows there's going to be a 5th generation of pokemon coming and with it of course a new game. From what I've read/seen the new games or going to be one of the first games featured on the new Nintendo 3DS which of course means they will be in 3D. I'm curious to see how this is going to change the world of pokemon as we know. Feel free to post your thoughts about this.

I'll wait until it's actually unveiled at E3, since right now, it's all speculation and rumor about the new system.

The 3DS isn't a rumor though, maybe the new game is but not the system itself. There was a Nintendo Wii2 aka Zii which was just an April fools joke.

They could still pull the plug and redesign.

That's true I didn't think of that, well hopefully whatever they decide won't be a disappointment.
