answer=2402
1+(7x7x7x7)
---------------------------------------------------------------- 2+3=10 2+3=5x2=10 7+2=63 7+2=9x7=63 6+5=66 6+5=11x6=66 8+4=96 8+4=12x8=96
then 9+7=144 9+7=16x9=144

I'm sorry guys, all those answers are wrong. The title is misleading. It's more like a riddle than a math problem. This is like one of those too much or too little information problems.

@kapow: the answer to your third problem is you start with 8 then add by 3 then subtract by 1.

Jalin Taiga @kapow: the answer to your third problem is you start with 8 then add by 3 then subtract by 1. No, sorry. This is, yet again, less math, more logic.

kapow123 Ok, new problem. As i was walking to Saint Ives, I met a man with seven wives, and with each wife was 7 sacks, and in each sack was 7 cats, and with each cat was 7 kittens. Kittens, cats, sacks, wives, how many are going to Saint Ives? I' guessing that no one is going to St Ives.
You say "As i was walking to Saint Ives", so you probably went there. then you met a man with "seven wives, and with each wife was 7 sacks, and in each sack was 7 cats, and with each cat was 7 kittens" but you don't state if he is going to or from St Ives. im guessing that he is not going to St Ives?

8, 5, 4, 7, 6, 3, 2, 0
-4, -1, +3, -1, -3, -1, -2
-3, +4, -4, -2, +2, -1 ---------------------------------------------------------- The difference between 8 and 5 is tht u subtract 4 The difference between 5 and 4 is tht u subtract 1 The difference between 4 and 7 is tht u add 3 The difference between 7 and 6 is tht u subtract 1 The difference between 6 and 3 is tht u subtract 3 The difference between 3 and 2 is tht u subtract 1 The difference between 2 and 0 is tht u subtract 2 ------------------------------------------------------------ Then, the diference between -4 and -1 is tht u have to subtract 3 Then, the difference between -1 and +3 is tht u have to add 4 Then, the difference between +3 and -1 is tht u have to subtract 4 Then, the difference between -1 and -3 is tht u have to subtract 2 Then, the difference between -3 and -1 is tht u have to add 2 And lastly the difference between -1 and -2 is tht u have to subtract one THIS LAST SECTION IS THE LOGIC: -3, +4, -4, -2, +2, -1 ------------------------------------------------------------- THT TOOK ALOT OF TIME AND I THNK THT ONLI 1000gg DOESNT EQUAL THE AMOUNT OF TIME THT I HAD TO PUT IN TO SOLVE THIS----->10 mins
