Don't write about anything abstract like your feelings or hate or despair or disappointment, and I say that for two reasons: #1 - Your teacher would probably expect that. #2 - Most poems about that don't turn out to be so good. Write about your favorite season or someone in class you don't like. Even pick something like an animal or a food. Just don't do that predictable abstract stuff.

write about something that you can be really discriptive about, something that will have them saying "holy s**t... that was good!" i just had an asignment like this yesterday... i chose to do a piece on the start of spring. something like that would be ok smile it got me a descent grade... which is surprizing for me xd ive never been very good at school. stare

How about you write about the anger you fell when they assigned you that project? Anger fills me,
as I heard the news,
a poem I had to write,
with paper,
black and white... Lol

IM THIS NEW GIRL AT SCHOOL, AND IM REALLY TRYING TO FIT IN WITH PEOPLE THAT R COOL, THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT R REALLY MEAN TO ME,
BUT IM JUS LIKE EVERY BODY ELSE IN THIS SCHOOL AND WORLD YOU SEE. I DO MY WORK AND PASSED IN ALL MY PERIODS, NOW PEOPLE CALL ME A NERD,WELL I THINK IF I HAV TO B CALLED A NERD TO PASS THEN OK THATS WAT I WILL B. THEN PEOPLE REALLY STARTED TO HATE ME BECAUSE I WAZ JUS BEIN ME, WELL ONE DAY, PEOPLE STARTED MAKIN FUN OF ME, PUSHING ME SHOVING ME, PARENTS DIDNT BELIEVE ME. SO ONE DAY I DROPED MA STUFF WEN I FELL, THEN I SAW THIS GUY, HE WAZ SO GENEROUSE TO MI, O GOD LOOK AT HIS EYES. HE DOESNT SEEM 2 MAKE FUN OF MI, ND HE LIKES MI 4 WHO I AM, I LIKE HIM AND HE LIKES ME.AS YOU COULD C WE BECAME GOOD FRIENDS ND WE WAZ ALWAYS THERE,ND HE WOULD ALWAYS SAY THAT HE WOULD B THERE FOR MI TIL THA VERY END. BUT THEN I WOKE UP FROM THIS DREAM THINKIN WOW COULD THIS REALLY BE ME. I STAYED THINKIN ABOUT THIS DREAM AND FOCUSIND ON THE END THINKIN WHO WAZ DIS GUY IS THIS A TRU STORY FOR SUMBODY ELSES LIFE WELL, IM GUESSIN, AND I FIGURED OUT THAT IT WAZ GOD TELLIN ME IN A MESSAGE THAT HE WOULD ALWAYS B THERE UNTIL THE VERY END. WELL I WISH I COULD SAY MORE BUT THIS IS THE END.

And make it like you were actually in it...but then not really...
