Freedom
what is freedom?
But a delusion, a dream, a whisper?
And lighthearted we choose to believe, That freedom is what we breathe.
Oh! what is freedom?
An Illusion, a trick, a deception?
So, self assured we peacefully rest, But our freedom is locked tight in a chest.
Ah! What is freedom?
But a prayer, an oath, a promise?
And fervently kneeling we pray, that blessed freedom comes our way.
