Macro Monarch says hi to nothing. The format hasn't helped their favor at all.
They have no reinforced way of keeping a field once it's gone. Solemn Judgment is still at one, and every Spell/Trap removal short of Mystical Space Typhoon, Heavy Storm, Giant Trunade, and Royal Decree is at three. To further add, the little draw support they had from Allure of Darkness is now limited to one.
More so, Blackwing - Breeze the Gentle Wind is on its way. Once hit, it's a matter of summon, search, summon, Synchro. All at a faster rate than your Monarchs and D.D. Survivors can deal.
A Macro sideboard is also easily-adaptable in Blackwings. I've done it with Gale the Whirlwind at three. It's no different with Breeze.
Ancient Forest is nothing but hype. In play it's s**t.

What I don't Like:
Royal Decree getting Semi-Limited hurts my Dark Gaia OTK Deck.
JD is still at 2? Gawd Damnit.
Burial from a DD at 1 makes my Megarock Return Deck sad.

JD at 2 still sucks, but at least they tackled the Lightsworn problem a different way by combating the other big problem: their speed. CotLB, Necro Guardna and Lumina being Limited will slow them down big time, and Honest going to 2 will help keep their power in check as well. would've liked Beckoning Light on the list too, but i'm still happy with what they did.
