This is my first deck and i wanted to make a zombie deck and i was wondering what I could do to make it better.

I don't know if you got one or not, if you bought the Gold boxes, but a chance for the card Gold Sarcophagus, which is basically a time capsule kind of card - put (insert card name here) in removed from play, discard GS, wait 3 turns. So its a failsafe get-a-card. I use it in my Dark Deck (will be posting soon for reference) to get my Dark Armed Dragon out early in the game.

Zombie decks are doing very good right now, due to their mass-swarming and Synchro Summoning capabilities. here's a basic build you can work off of (budget pending, of course lol)

Limited to 2. I would recommend Zombie-Sworn, since the reprint on Ryko and Charge of the Light Brigade have made it relatively easy. However, that doesn't cover the problem of Burial from a Different Dimension, Mezukis, and Plaguespreader Zombie being the expensive cards of the deck.

Zombie sworn are pretty big right now. I recomend if your going to go this route to have 7 lightsworn monsters in the deck. I'd go with 2 wolfs, 2 Lyla, 2 Lumina, and 1 Garoth. As well as running three charge and three solar recharge. More than likely you'll be zipping through your deck. Also I'd say zombie master should be played usually at one, but if zombie sworn go with 2. Besides that just throw in the normal zombie engine that being 1 plauge, 2 mezuki's, and 2 goblin zombie. That set of monsters alone should be more than enough to take on any other deck. mrgreen

This is pretty much an outline of my friends zombiesworn build, i'm not sure if it's card for card I forgot if he runs 2 or 1 vortex. Custom made his own design, and the in the top 10 of NC, if he goes to SJC nashville I'll have the list, cause I'm pretty sure he's going to get a feature and top.
