The scene here in NM is slowly growing. We have a few good bands that play pretty regularly. I'm pretty sure the biggest local ska band is gonna have a song in the new Michael Moore movie.

There's a place here in Minnesota called Rudies. It's a 'ska cafe.' Actually it's just a coffee shop with a lot of checkers. It was a lot more about ska back in the day, and not so much anymore.

Middle Tennesse doesn't have to many great bands of any really good genre as far as I've seen. No ska whatsoever, a couple decent Skynerd cover bands, one good metal band, and thousands of crappy screamo bands.
