Trinity didn't stop until Dom made her, and she put a smile on her face for him. Though it wasn't that hard to do when she was looking at him. "I know it will, but I guess I just needed the reassurance. So thanks for being there," she said softly.

Before she could stop herself, she leaned forward and gently kissed his cheek.

Dominic's eyes grew wider in surprise as Trinity kissed his cheek. He felt his face burn a bright pink color as she pulled away from him. He suddenly felt nervous now. He smiled at her and said, "No problem. That what friends are for, right?"

The word friends stung her chest and made it tighten, but she didn't show him any of that. She just smiled and nodded her head. "Your right. That is what friends are for."

Dominic sensed a hint of something in Trinity's voice. He wasn't sure what it was, though. Disappointment maybe? Whatever it was, he was sure that he'd said something wrong. In an attempt to make things better, he said, "Uh, hey. How about we hang out tomorrow? We're both pretty stressed out, so we could use a day off to get our minds off things, don't you think?"
