Why would Konami release such a mishmash set of old and new cards?

The red/green rares are real I have a Red rare Red Dragon.

Synchro Monsters where normal monsters like normal effect monster cards. but the resion for the White Coller is when the proses when coller is added to the cards the ink transporter mesed up and so not giving a nummber of monster cards no coller.. the final prosess found the collerless monster cards with no coller and where about to be trashed like most miss prints, but a worker took the cards on a idea of new tyipe of cards to the boss of the factory.. the idea was ideal and the factory printed off some of the cards (stardust, Red dragon , junk W.Colossal Fighter ) . the idea of the new cards became good thus giving the new cards the name Synchro Monsters . and bla bla the cards where a hit so the factory made more and more and well... here we are now .

I played a mini-game style game at a local tourney. You rolled six dice and you get a special card corresponding to the number. I got a Blue rare Threatening Roar, A Hobby-league Six-samurai Zanji and a couple of Legendary JuJus.

Widely used cards with a different colored name (e.g. a Blue named Penguin Soldier, a red-named Bora, or a yellow named Legendary Jujutsu Fighter.) They're pretty neat and make for decent trade fodder.
