A question regarding travel

So, I have the chance to either go to Europe (England/Germany/Sweden, etc.) or Los Angeles over spring break. I've been to LA, but I love it, can't get enough, never been to Europe...oh, and I'm not 18, so that restricts the things I can do anywhere, obviously.

Just curious, what are all of your thoughts? Like, what would your choice be? (I'm sure by posting this question a lot of people will think "what a loser, coming to the internet for something like this - you have no life, and can't make up your mind" lol well...oh well.)

Oh, and if you know either of these areas, and have any suggestions on things to do, places to go, etc., that'd be cool, too!

Um, okay. The travelling part isn't much of an issue, since I live in Florida...so either way, it doesn't matter much. smile

You should go to Europe. You will get a much bigger change of scenery that way (Los Angeles isn't too different than some parts of Florida).

Being under eighteen and American in Europe doesn't usually restrict you as far as certain... Ah... Activities go. >>

Europe has a much larger cultural history and is really fascinating. I'd say go if you have the chance.

Also, I live in Florida! Yay Florida!

Check out the east coast and MN. MN is one of the most amazing and beautiful places in America, if you ask me... I went up by greyhound bus, it was so wonderful. Appearently, Oregon has a nice little scene there, if you are looking for that. But as far as beauty, large cities, ancient buildings, and a nice odd-looking bunch to match, MN is your best shot if you ask me.

Appearently, Oregon has a nice little scene there, if you are looking for that. But as far as beauty, large cities, ancient buildings, and a nice odd-looking bunch to match, MN is your best shot if you ask me.

You should take the opportunity to go to Europe.

Change of culture, scenery, history, atmosphere....go for it!

You'll probably have plenty of other opportunities to go to Los Angeles again. Don't worry.

Second'd. I was lucky enough to go to Boston for a week a year ago and I wish I could've gone for a month. I was with a group and we had to agree on everything we did, so I seriously felt like I was missing out on a lot.

+ people speaks english
+ should be pretty cheap as far as i have heard.
+ huge history

- dont know you can do up there, but skiing.
- not exactly famouse for there scene.

England
+ speaks english (obviously)
+ the root of both punk (sex pistols, the clash etc) and goth culture (the original batcave)
+ huge history

- heard it should be pretty expensive.

Germany
+ HUGE goth/metal scene (wacken, mera luna, WGT for examples)
+ pretty cheap (in Denmark people often go there to get cheap beer and soda's )
+ big history

- people do rarely speak english.

my personal first choice would be England, but Germany is also a good choice. I have nothing against sweden, but i dont what i should be doing up there.

I live in Denmark btw, right above germany, right beneath sweeden.

im in germany currently visiting.
but they do speak alot of english...so far i havent seen any of the goth scenes i guess im not looking hard enough...yeah come to europe!! 3nodding
