-PrimaCzarina- [[I have now changed my font.
Is it better or is it too light?]] @Prima: I can read it easily, but it's still a pain to read in that color. Use colors like black, indigo, dark blue, purple, dark red, and such. Those colors are normally the easiest to read.
@Thread: On that note, thanks for reviving this thread. I hate colors that are too light and too bright. They drive me nuts. Why anyone would like to use such colors on a white background is beyond me. I was seriously resisting the urge to go insane on everyone using colors like that.

Friendshipstar is orange really that bad? Yes. And small and blue is an eyesore in a large post. ~Because, oh Because, I've fallen quite hard over you. If I didn't know you, I'd rather not know. If I couldn't have you, I'd rather be alone.~

❶ ❷ ❸ ❹ It's alright. In a larger post, try to use a darker colour, or bold your current blue so it's easier to read. ~I never knew just what it was about this old coffee shop I love so much. All of the while, I never knew. All of the while, All of the while it was you.~

Yeah, I have pretty bad sight, too. I was told that within a few years, if I don't start actually wearing my glasses every day, I'm probably going to end up blind in my left eye because of the bleach I "somehow" *cough-stupid-brother-cough* got in it a few years ago stare I just can't read the bright colours. If it's in a bright colour, I just go right past it and if I accidentally offended you by saying something or not saying something, or anything that had something to do with reading or not reading, your post, I really am sorry.

Pink, orange and yellow can be triggers for migrane headaches which can be absolutely brutal.
I don't understand people who choose to write in these colors because they are actively hurting and causing physical pain to a significant number of readers through eyestrain and headache triggers.
Dark pinks and dark orange don't have the same effect. Yellow of any shade can really hurt people's eyes and brains unless set agains a neutral dark background.
There are some adaptive technologies the OP might be able to make use of that will auto-invert text colors to reduce eye strain. The college I went to had these. I'm sorry I don'ty remember what they're called
