Welcome To The Legion Of Helpers.
The Legion of Helpers is a guild dedicated to the assistance and improvement of new and like-new members of Gaia Online on an economic (Gold and Questing), functional (how to operate various features of GO) and social (proper forum ettiquette) basis.
This being said, we do have some rules and expectations of our members, new and old, which will be outlined here. They are simple and easy to follow, any penalties and actions to be taken will be listed by the rules.
THE RULES
1. You will observe the GaiaOnline TOS (located here!) at all times. Failure to do so will result in banning from the guild and being reported to the Gaia Online Moderators/Admins.
2. Whilst we don't mind the occasional thread on the main page, please keep threads in their proper subforums. This goes double for quest threads. At no time is anyone to put a quest thread anywhere but the quest thread subforum. Depending on the severity of the infraction, we will do anything from a simple PM warning and thread lock for a minor issue, to thread deletion and/or banning for multiple repeat offenders.
3. We realize that english may not be everybody's first language, but we also know that nobody's first language is Chatspeak. Keep chatspeak and txt talk out of this guild, on pain of death... No, seriously... if it's a continuous issue, your butt's getting the Banhammer....
4. These rules are to be followed at all times in the guild. Other subforums will have their own rules, and users will be expected to read and follow all rules for the designated subforum. Ignorance is not an excuse.
5. Foul language: It's all a matter of intent and direction. If we feel someone is out of line, then we'll say something to them and take appropriate action.
6. We, the Crew, VCs and Captain, reserve the rights to lock any thread that we feel has gotten out of line in any forum. Punitive maesures may be carried out if we feel it is needed.
7. We, the crew, VCs and Captain, also reserve the right to change, alter or add to this list as we see fit to the mission of the guild.
