February 2nd, 2010 - six more weeks of winter gonk

Breakfast: two slices toast w/ nutella, marshmallow fluff (390 cals)

Snack: none :/

Lunch: kc meal (390 cals)

Snack: banana, pudding (300 cals)

Before dinner: bowl of honey nut cheerios w. 2% milk, granola, chips ahoy (140 cals), mini milkyway, 5 pretzel crackers w/ cheese (140 cals), some more crackers with cheese/ sausage slices

Dinner: 1 1/2 grilled cheese sandwiches, 3/4 cup mac and cheese, 2 eggs easy over well done, quark w/ fruit cocktail for desert

Comments:

12:06am: dinner was crazy but I'm still full. =)

Snacking was out of hand. AGAIN.
Tomorrow I'll try replacing everything (all snacks before dinner) w/ a bowl of meusli and a banana.

Breakfast:1/2 c quark, one rice cake (50), w/ pb, banana

Snack: 2 Hit cookies (140), glass milk

Lunch: 2 Hit cookies (14), KC meal (340)

Snack: 4 Hit cookies (280), glass milk

Bad snacking before dinner: crackers, cheese spread (50), two slices cheese (140), 2 slices bread w/ salami, 2 miniature milkyways, bowl of meusli w/ 2%, handful m&m's, sliced banana

Dinner: 1/2 c penne noodles, 2 tbsp's or so of gravy, some red beets

Comments:

1:34 am: I also had some candy after dinner. Some hershey kisses, I believe.
I hate the snacking. But I was sincerely HUNGRY. >< And then, after the meusli, I felt full, satisfied.
I need more fiber/whole grains. ._. *facepalm*

Tomorrow I shall do this!! >< Add more whole grains, more fiber.

Sorry about not posting yesterday. It was a weird day. Good eating-wise until dinner. We had pizza. I had like, three slices. But it was GOOD. D:

Breakfast:bread sticks, coke [went back to bed after this]

Snack: none?

Lunch: bowl of cocoa puffs, kc meal

Snack: fruit/nut bar

we've all come down with the stomach flu. Luckily, I don't have to vomit anything up. But I'm going number two quite a bit..... gonk

So, I realize I don't post every single day and most of the day I don't complete my posts at the end of the day. :/

I'll be in and out here. As in, as far as posting my intake is concerned. Yesterday, I did fairly good except that my snacking is still out of hand. -__-
I've been thinking about going vegan. I can't do it at this point in time but once I move out, I will be. I can't make requests for other foods or soy milk or tofu around here. We're tight on money enough as it is.
But, I am reducing my intake of deli meats, mayo, and cheese. This will reduce my carb intake considerably. It'll also keep me from eating chips or anything like that.

Breakfast: three eggo choc chip pancakes, syrup, banana, less than a tbsp of nutella

Snack: one piece of chocolate

Lunch: meal from a diner: I ate half of everything. 1 egg beater, half the hash browns, one piece toast, two sausage links

12:21pm: today I started my period. It explains my insane amounts of chocolate I've eaten in the past week or so.
I read in a magazine that our cravings for chocolate aren't caused by PMS but rather by our psychological attachment to it. We see it as a comfort food and when our bodies are in discomfort in one way or another, we'll seek out whatever food that we associate with comfort.
Honestly, I'd have to seriously disagree. My body literally craves chocolate. It has to be real chocolate. It can't be 'chocolate flavored'. It's as if whatever's in the chocolate is something my body is automatically in need of before my period starts.
Right now, my cravings are not really there. Honest. My cravings only last for a week or so before everything starts which SUCKS but I can't help it.
I've tried denying myself chocolate but, it drove me nuts. I had to have it. I'm sure I would have gone completely bonkers, had I actually continued denying myself chocolate.

Gah! I'm back. After a few months of not being here.

Breakfast: about 1 cup of oat bran made w/ milk, spoon of sugar, some cinnamon, bagel w/ land o lakes butter, nutella

Lunch: two slices pizza, bowl of cereal?

Dinner: spaghetti, pasta sauce, cucumber slices

Snacks: butterfinger, mini cream puff @ a fair

Exercise: 1 mile walk

12:47pm:
So, last night I did about 10 or 11 minutes of random floor exercises, some stuff with 5 lb weights. Nothing crazy but enough to cause me pain the next day. I know 10 minutes is nothing but it's something. I really need to extend my time and I need to do it quick.

We have an Ethnic Fair in about 4 hours and I'm going to avoid all the overly greasy foods, if I can. My sister'll be with me, picking at everything. I told her yesterday we'd be skipping all sweets except fortune cookies and she's like, NOOOO!! So, yeah. Heh. Torture.

I'll update after. It goes until 9pm EST.

I'm back and, dare I say it, I'm back for good. smile
Life's been good, btw. No issues, no slipups. I just want to lose weight and get in shape.

Two days ago I had done those (haha) ten minutes of some form of strength training, a couple different sets of reps with 5 lb weights. I'm still in pain sad
I can't wait for it to go away. So I can do it all over again :O
I'm actually getting slightly addicted to the burn I feel about 24 hours after. I know then that I've done something.
