ϯ Personality; Kurama is regarded as the calmest member of Team Urameshi. However, his personality changes while in battle. Hiei notes that Kurama is more cutthroat and merciless than he. In contrast, he cares deeply for his friends and family, and will sacrifice his life to protect them.
In combat, Kurama prefers to analyze the opponent's fighting style before attacking. However, this usually ends with him being the most seriously injured. In the end, though, Kurama always has a trick up his sleeve to clinch the match.
Being that Kurama and Youko are separate entities, they refer to each other as such. Youko is dependent on Kurama, because if either of them dies, so will the other.
ϯ History; Youko Kurama is a demon thief who, after being fatally wounded, fuses with the unborn child of Shiori Minamino. He is born as Shuichi Minamino, a human, though he retains his demon powers at a much lower level.
Kurama had originally planned to return to his demon form after regenerating his powers. However, while he has an accident his mother saves him; injuring herself in the process. This forms a bond of love and loyalty which Kurama cannot bear to break and stays as Shuichi to keep Shiori happy. He attends the Meioh Private Academy where his grades are among the top in his year.
During the Dark Tournament Kurama is temporarily reverted back to his original form, the Demon Fox. Ever since this transformation, Kurama has been training to maintain his demon form. Now, after five years, Kurama is ready for what ever the demon world throws at him.

ϯ Personality; When it really comes down to things Hiei is a man of little words. He is very cold hearted and extremely distant. He finds no pleasure in human relationships and find them only pointless. He is very deep in himself, and has a very hard time trusting people. He is very cold hearted and closed minded, and the only thing that really keeps him going is his twin sister Yukina. He has a very mysterious aura about him and doesn't not really talk about himself when it comes down to things. He is very quick to anger when it comes to people hurting Yukina, also he is very close with Kurama.
For the most part Hiei is a very misunderstood person. He has slightly distorted way of showing he cares and most of the time his small actions of affection get over shadowed. He is very mischievous and childish at times. He has a very particular face that shines when he is having a good time, to those who don't know him well it comes off as cocky or deadly but in the reality of things he is pleased with his surroundings. Pain is a large part of his personality. He tends to push himself to the limits in order to combat himself and make himself better. He feels like he can never be to strong and will do anything at any expense to be stronger.
Though his attitude screams independence he is very dependent on the Urameshi team for the support that he lacked as a child. Kurama is his main base who understands him the best. He depends on Kurama for a bases and uses the Kitsune as a brace into the world of social interaction.
ϯ History; Born on a cold December night two twins were born in an all female village in the mountains of Spirit World. In fear for the life of her baby son Hiei's mother hide him from the rest of the village. And for the first time she cried two tears. When this rumor reached the ears of the village and the women was first to give up her son. Watching him be thrown into the frozen water not expecting him to live. He was left with only the memory of her face and the tear that she cried during his birth.
After a while Hiei was discovered by a group of Bandits and raised to fight. Hiei made some close connections in the Spirit World, among them was a longtime friendship with Yoko Kurama. After initially fighting, Hiei and Kurama gained a mutual respect for each other and became friends. Hiei later learned he had a sister, but the odds of finding her were against him. So Hiei underwent a painful operation to have a Jagan eye implanted in his head. It not only allowed him incredible powers, but with it he could more easily sense his sister's energy.
After an attempt to take over the Human world Hiei was joined with the spirit detectives and developed a level of strength through them. He respects them all and will never admit it.

ϯ Personality; Yomi is a calm person, even in battle, which he learned after he was blinded. He also genuinely loves his son, Shura, who he fought in the Demon World Tournament. Rather than fight at full strength, like Shura wanted, Yomi was actually helping his son become a better fighter. He also gets along well with his subordinates, but can also be quite the manipulator. Yomi seems pretty cold-hearted but while it seems like he would kill his son, he's just establishing a will to fight in his son.
His encounters with Yusuke Urameshi has Yomi uncovering parts of his personality that he had never discovered before; namely, that of his primal demon self and the allure of a decent brawl in the hopes of winning it all.
ϯ History; Yomi is the newest of the Three Kings. He is the former second in command to Youko Kurama's brigand prior to Kurama placing his soul into a mortal. Yomi, however, was reckless, losing countless men in unauthorized raids and direct confrontation, thinking it more exciting that way. Kurama, angered, sent an assassin to kill him, who failed but blinded Yomi. Yomi then grew extra ears and tuned his senses so acutely he could eventually hear all within his kingdom.
He planed to take over both the demon and human planes, calling on Kurama to his side. He fights Yusuke in the tournament, barely winning after hearing Shura's shout, and loses the next round due to his injuries. Yomi then leaves to properly raise and train Shura, thanking Yusuke for helping him achieve a sense of peace he could not have attained on his own.
Now, Yomi aims to save the human and the demon world from what ever this force that faces them now. In truth, it was Yomi who kept the idea of war still in his mind, being thought of as either paranoid or the one who was going to start the war. It was actually Yomi who caught the first sign of war, proving everyone wrong.
