I recently realized I haven't posted any of my work in this guild. Please forgive my laziness and inactivity... Anyway, I usually write short stories/novels but this is a poem I wrote. Sunrise
Cold
Is the sun
When the twinkling stars fade
Told
Kind promises
Day has never betrayed
Cloud
Part the way
For the blistering new day
Proud
For the colors
Of sunrise's bouquet
Light
Leads the way
And holds wishes close
Fright
Never comes
When the day shall compose
Life
At its greatest
It's first early stage
Rife
Of harmony
As the day starts to age
Storms
Never noticed
The clouds a sweet lace
Warms
My cold skin
As gold rays hit my face
