"Having someone ready to die for you isn't watching them die for you is another thing entirely." Aiden muttered. Then came a second knock at the door.
"They are beginning to reach docking distance captain." came Bui's voice.
"I'll be right out." Aiden called before moving quickly away from Louis and gathering his clothes.

Nodding, the prince began to replace his own clothing. "Then I suppose that's where you and I differ, captain. I don't mind having people willing to die for me... and I don't mind watching them die." he smirked slightly, shaking his head in amusement. "You've a rather big heart... for a pirate."

Aiden have a snort of disgust when Louis said he didn't mind if people died for him. "Lark said thats bound to get me killed soon. So either I have to survive a year so you can get home or feel free to jump ship now because a fight is what were about to have." Aiden growled pulling on his clothes. Re hiding his weapons he strapped his cutlass to his waist before exiting his cabin. "Whose flag?" Aiden barked announcing his presence.
"It Ryan's, still can't believe that little s**t got himself a boat and crew." Maverik growled.

Laughing, Louie shrugged his shoulders, "What good would jumping ship do me, captain? My best chance for survival lies here with you. I'll not lie about that."
Thankfully he was fully dressed and ready for a fight when Aiden left the cabin, the prince not too far behind.
This 'Ryan' fellow... he'd never heard of him before, though that was understandable.
Pirates had never truly been in his learning repertoire.

Aiden rolled his eyes but inwardly smirked and felt a bit relieved that Louis wouldn't be jumping ship. "I suppose hes come to challenge me for my thrown?" Aiden growled.
"Right you are brat." came an annoying voice as the ship catching them grew close enough to converse with them.
"Ryan..." Aiden regarded the man with boredom. This only seemed to irritate the other man who was older by what looked like just a couple of years. "Are you coming across or are you going to go on past my ship?" Aiden questioned. The man who was now idenitifed as the captain of the other ship, Ryan, grabbed a rope and was swinging across with a few of his own crew. Many of Aiden's crew grew tense and some even drew their swords.
