That should help you out with some of the basics.
Some various shortcuts:
CTRL-D - Draw
CTRL-S - Shuffle
CTRL-E - End Turn
CTRL-F - Flip Coin
CTRL-R - Roll Die
Then to add and subtract Life Point totals...
To add, type "/add" into the chat box, followed by the amount.
To reduce, type "/sub" into the chat box, followed by the amount.
To get options on what to do with a card in your hand or on the field, right-click the card to get a list of options.
To change the ATK/DEF of a card on your side of the field, right click the name of the card.
To access any actions, click "Gameplay" at the top of the window. That should give you a dropdown menu with a bunch of options to select. Other options and actions may be found in other tabs.
To connect to an opponent, get to the "Deck Shop" window that should appear when you start up YVD (where you build a deck). Click "Duel", then on the left, you should see a dropdown menu. Click on it and choose either of the "Server Duel" options. You should get a pop-up menu with instructions on how to register an account to access Server Dueling.
When you get a username and password, add those into the pop-up menu and click "Verify Account". When it says that your account is verified, click Okay. Then, where it says "Enter IP Address", instead type in the username of your opponent. Then click connect. You should connect and be ready to duel!
