For the most part

Except for GB fusions, Demise and that thing from SOVR if that ends up being good.

I think rituals are making a small comeback. But the past three fusions have been the sacred beasts fusion, arcanie joker knight, and multipule piece golem.

I foresee Rituals making a comeback, but Fusions are pretty much dead. Except for the ones that are widely used, like GB, FGD, and Chimeratech for example they've been replaced by Synchros

Rituals could do with an update. Contact Fusion monsters and vague fusion material fusion monsters should make a comeback.

A good example of a vague fusion material fusion monster.

But even with all this ritual support coming back, you have to realize that, just because there's nothing new for them, it doesn't mean it's dead. There was a HUGE rush of Fusions back in Cybernetic Revolution's day. All the E-Hero fusions, the Neo Spacians, Chimeratech, Roid, and so much more. It flooded so much and now, other than the occasional Gladiator Beast or E-Hero fusion, Fusions aren't going to see much. Besides, Fusions were never really splashable in a deck like Synchros are.

On another note, I think everyone tends to forget that, other than Demise that has been limited and its counterpart Ruin, the old classic Relinquished is still one of the best Ritual monsters in the game to date. Now if there was good enough Ritual support, I could see Relinquished making a HUGE comeback, as its Fusion form, Thousand-Eyes Restrict, has been banned for a long time.
