nightshade29 Ta-Ji : I'm not very good at drawing muscles , but I suppose it will help me with anatomy ^^Never said you had to draw the muscles. Just look lol (^_^) Posemaniacs.com focuses on poses and angles. This site is best suited for gesture drawing. I wouldn't recommend using it to study anatomy because there are some small errors. Better off studying from life if you want to learn anatomy. smile

Looks like we two are in the same rut of the road. <.< Like I sometimes do, look on google for anime hand poses, or better yet, go to youtube and search up: Mark Crilley. He rocks the boat. Good luck! I hope you get better.
Edit: What kind of colored pencils do you use? What kind of scanner? Just asking, because my scanner sucks like heck. XD

Are you looking to draw an anime/manga style? One thing I have noticed from looking at your art, it that drawing an artist's skeleton would help out tremendously to give the body more shape, at the moment most of your art looks like balloon dolls, I'll try to find good references for you, or just scan pages of one of my books ^^

@nightclasscamp- Thank you! heart @Raeyu Itami- Okay ^^ I've never been good at body structures and such. And that would be great if you could find some references(Or scan a page from one of your books) , that would help a lot ^^

The body takes up space. Try drawing so that you show how much space is between the feet. Start simple. Stick figures like this. Establish a floor and do a page of simple poses. (Use reference from photos or draw people you see standing around.)
