Night Walker question!

Ok, to have a nightwalker, I treat as if it was a normal thief?
Like, giving SP to bandit skills?
Help me cuz I am really confused.

I have a sin night walker though.
Youu get other skills like vampire.
Which I have already maxed on.
Youu can choose to do it normally or max out the new skills.
