This is my first attempt to coloring one of my pictures.
Its not a very well drawn picture, defiantly not the best I have.

heh...

Just tell me what you think. hmm.
Perhaps, what programs should I consider buying for editing/coloring pictures?
I'll add more over time, I have lots of mistakes ; ;

No one is rating you here.

(Critique is coming. Redline ahoy.)

Edit: First, the image is a little small for the amount of detail you have. I understand wanting to keep it at a manageable size for the forum, but it's a good idea to save a full size and link to that if it's too big.

I think it's great that you tried to capture that she's on a flat surface. Sketching that surface might help keep things consistent though. Her torso doesn't really follow the same perspective as her legs.

I'm going to try and use the same perspective you started and see if it works.

Is that hand near the bear supposed to be propping her up?

(First attempt at critique, please bear with)
The art is great, the facial expression is amazing. The one problem jumping out at me is the arms. They're just akwardly posed.

One thing I can't stress enough when people feel their pose might be a little awkward. Do it yourself. If it feels weird, it most likely looks weird.

Mm... If you could, try practising drawing smoother-looking lines.
The current lines you have is a bit squiggly.
(Don't drag your pen across too slowly. Try SWOOSHING it right across the page. xD Turns out with no squiggles. ;D)

If you're going to shade your picture, don't just shade the arms and legs and forget about the hand. You either shade the whole picture, or don't shade at all. Try to remember that lines aren't just... lines. They're also 3D. The lines you draw helps you figure out where everything is and "bunches" the colour together so you won't forget where the... let's say, skin ends to a point where you cannot see. Line art is almost like a draft, just like your base sketch, though it's one of those drafts that could sometimes be used in the finishd art. Basically, what I'm saying is, let's take her breasts for example. The part that bulges out at the top, you've got the idea right by inking it there. But use a smaller brush when shading that area and shade right along the lines. This way we'll know that you aren't substituting shade for pen lines.

I hope I made some sort of sense with what I've just said. sweatdrop
