As some of us know, Gerard Way writes the popular comic book series The Umbrella Academy. For the past 3 years, he's been coming to Comic Con to talk about The Umbrella Academy.
I'm not sure if anyone else already knows about this [I'd be completely embarrassed right now if someone does] or if they're already going [I'd be really embarrassed right now], but I'm just trying to raise awareness about this if anyone's interested.
It's going to be on July 25 Saturday in room 6DE from 2:15-315
Oh I'm going by the way.

GUYS I went.
I saw Gerard, Mikey, and Scott Allen (TUA editor).
It was AMAZING.
I asked Gerard a question for the Q&A session.
He answered my question.
I don't want to sound like some teeny bopper fan girl right now, but, since I started listening to MCR in 2006, I've been waiting for a moment like that.
Did anyone else go?

On the 25 Gerard was there and stuff. my friends mom wrote a book that went to comic con and I told her if she sees Gerard way or any one fom my chem get them on the phone talking to me! or an autoghraph or somthing!!!!! So if she saw them I would freak. it sucs being inthe city it's in and not going I was freaking out so much trying to get tickets off of game shows and stuff. too bad it neb=ver worked and today I actauly got Umbrella Academy apocalypse suite and i love it. By the way what would you do if you met mcr face to face like just randomly?

what was your question? I asked about Resident Evil and The Umbrella Academy of that game. Gerard told me that he should've been sued. I made him confused when I first asked that question biggrin

I made him confused when I first asked that question biggrin OMG, I totally heard your question xp That was pretty awesome to see, Mikey was very quiet, and it was pretty funny near the end when Gerard read the name placard and found out you were'nt suppoused to curse rofl ... I wanted to ask him a question about The Seance, but I was too late when I thought of it. Me and my sister saw him outside on Friday, having a smoke with whom I assume was Scott Allen (I just called him his assitant though lol). My sister wanted a pic with him but she was nervous and didn't want to bother him... I told her I'd take the pic for her (she's the bigger fan lol), but the camera was full. So while she was trying to erase photos, he'd finished his smoke and was walking back in. Me and her managed to give him a wave, smiling, and he waved back with one of his big smiles xp I know he sees throngs of fans every day and it probably doesn't phase him too much, but we'll certainly never forget that... I also tried getting a raffle ticket to his book signing, but I wasn't called sad

i wish i could have flown out to Cali for it...i watched the videos on YouTube of the whole panel. There were some funny parts. Like when he said what he was doing when his daughter was born and a girl asking if it was hard doing 2 jobs.
Still wish I could have gone...I live in Texas.
