Chibis

Help! I need advise on drawing chibi's I'm doing an art trade with someone, and they love my half animal, half human creatures and want me to draw a zebra boy and girl chibi, I'm okay with the heads, but I can't seem to get a grasp on the disfigured bodies ^^; any tips on making it look alright without wanting to tear it up for the sake of proportions?

well chibis are actually very easy to draw if you understand the proportions.

well i'm not gonna list them all but i'll start with the child. children are about 4 heads high. and chibis are going to be lightly smaller then that. depending on size chibis are 3-2 heads high. people tend to find the 2 head chibis the cutest.
