THE LAW

the LCPD-the men and women who hunt down and arrest liberty city's many criminals armed manly with pistols and shot guns along with the regular cars and copters these guys are usually enough for regular crocks

National Office Of Security Enforcement or (NOOSE)-when the regular blue wont do then they bring out this noose there smarter,armored, better equipped, and down right more bad a** then the regular cops armed with assault rifles and submachine guns along with the shot guns and pistols as back ups

Wanted Levels

as you do more extreme crime your wanted level goes up and with that the law will be more extreme in its effort to stop you this level is measured in stars


one star- wanted LCPD police patrols that spot the crocks give chase and attempt to arrest the. Officers only shoot at one star if they feel threatened and most commonly attempt to arrest the suspect using non-lethal force. Police cars follow at lower speeds than at higher wanted levels.

If some one breaks free when the police are trying to arrest them on one star, thay then gain a two star wanted level and police start to use firearms.

you get put on one star for minor offences such as going over the speed limit, driving under the influence etc.

two star- more serous offences the police will try harder to catch you and are less concerned off your well being

two stars are gained from acts like assault,light theft, Grand Theft Auto, etc.

three star-At a three-star wanted level, pursuing police become more aggressive and the police also begin to set up roadblocks NOOSE began to get involved. at this point you are considered highly dangerous and full lethal force is authorised for perusing officers and they will not be worried about gunning you down. attempts at arrest are minimal but will acour if the suspect is to injured to move or they surrender

three stars are gained from murder, and high class thefts

Four Stars- this level is almost impossible to escape from with out a plan to escape before hand as the LCPD will throw every thing they have at you, from choppers to armored vans NOOSE will get everything available for them to kill you, at this point you are considered to dangerous to walk an ONLY lethal force will be used to stop you.
