I found a fantastic calorie counter for home made recipes, it's probably not perfect but it's a good estimator!
http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/recipe_analysis.phpYou put in the recipe of what you made, and it tells you how many calories your home made meal has. Ie: I made soup with.
1 tbsp oil
5 med. potatoes
1 bulb fennel
4 med onions
1/2 tsp caraway seeds
6 cups water
6 servings
184 calories per serving. : D
In reality it's probably a bit less because I have more servings in there than six I think but I like to low ball it.
Also, the soup recipe is fantastic, I can put down the directions if anyone wants them.
